15 Proven, Reliable Under the Table Jobs That Pay You Cash Instantly

Want To Earn Easy Money?

Getting paid cash upfront is awesome, no matter what the reason.

If you’re looking for a job like that, there are many possibilities. Chances are there would be something available in or near your town that is right up your alley.

So what are under the table jobs? These jobs are usually cash-paying that are not reported to the government. While they have a negative connotation, you can choose to report these on your taxes.

Because you’re dealing with cash, I HIGHLY recommend you use something called Personal Capital to track all your cash flow and income. It’s free to use and if you’ve got cash in your pocket, you need this app, my friend.

It’s going to help you

  • Link any bank accounts you have so you’ll never miss a dollar
  • Manage all your side hustle income in one central place
  • Gain access to a FREE retirement planner
  • Track your money for free  (I’ve used it along with my side hustles to consistently improve my money situation year after year)

The app includes a net worth tracker and retirement planner that can help you improve your personal financial situation, no matter where you’re starting from.

Unless you are making more than $30,000 a year, you probably will not pay much in taxes even when you include this income.

How to Find Under the Table Jobs

Like any job hunt, finding an under the table job can be a little demanding too. But it can be easier if you know where to look.

  • Job Websites & Apps

Now, there are actually plenty of other apps out there that will pay you to do gigs. These are not also cash jobs or under the table jobs.

But, they are easy gigs that cost nothing to start and can help you increase your income instantly.

Here are some of the best options to consider:

There are a couple of other websites with cash gig opportunities.

I like Nextdoor.com or Rover.com.

Nextdoor.com is a great site that has verified people from your neighborhood and town. This means most jobs are nearby and convenient.

The jobs also pay pretty well, so you will end up making a decent amount of money at the end of the day.

Rover.com is great if you love dogs. WOOF WOOF!

  • Facebook Groups

Facebook Logo

Facebook is another great source for cash job advertisements.

You might can look in the jobs section or better yet, find a local group.

Now you might think groups are just for sharing pictures of your running shoes or sharing stories about your kids, BUT…

Almost every town and community, no matter how small or big, has a group on Facebook to find freelancers and people willing to do odd jobs.

  • Craigslist

craigslist-logo-vector

Craigslist, by far, is the best option for cash jobs. Simply head to the gigs section of the website, and you’ll be surprised to see the amount of cash-paying jobs.

Now let me admit…yes, some of the listings are either shady or just ridiculous, but most are from genuine people looking for your services.

I know someone who found a cash-job on Craigslist that she had for over 3 years.

And when she moved, she found another similar job in a new area and worked there for 18 months…all for cash under the table!

List of Proven, Easy and Real Jobs That Pay Under the Table

Here is a list of under the table jobs that’ll help you earn some quick cash. There’s a variety, so plenty of opportunity depending on your abilities.

Even though under the table term is considered as ‘off the books’, you can always report it and stay away from any sort of trouble.

  • Handyman

Probably one of the oldest professions…and still absolutely essential to every person out there.

But here’s the thing, professional companies overcharge for simple repairs.

If you’re good at repairing stuff you could earn some serious money. And chances are you won’t have to travel very far to find work.

handyman

You can find these jobs by checking out local Facebook groups or list your services there.

You can also print out a flyer with your contact details and the services you can offer and distribute around the neighborhood.

It’s an old school approach that works.

A new school way to find jobs it to sign up for something called Taskrabbit

This is a freelance company that places like IKEA use to link up people that need help putting together furniture with handy people like yourself.

(Like Uber for getting handy stuff done around your house, etc.)

Using Taskrabbit can also help you find jobs like

  • Cleaning
  • Maintenance
  • Delivery
  • running errands
  •  home improvement
  • plumbing.

If you think you could do ANY of these things, sign up now!! This is like Uber for odd jobs.

Once you sign up for  Taskrabbit, make sure you check out Taskrabbit alternatives to maximize your chances to make cash.

  • Babysitting

As long as there are children in the world, there will be parents looking for babysitters.

Care.com or Facebook are great places for people looking for sitters. You might be able to post your availability to sit on Craigslist, but I’ve heard parents don’t often like to look there.

You may not even need to look online. Just ask around to family and friends. You’ll probably find something quickly!

This could be a one-time thing or a regular thing, depending on what you want out of it. You can make $10-$15 an hour… or even more so in states like New York and California.

You might have to work less than ideal hours, but the cash is good and usually reliant.

If you are good with children, this could be the perfect job for you that will get you cash income at the end of the day.

  • Cleaning Jobs

Who likes to clean their house?

Hardly anyone…but if you need cash quick this is a great way to get it.

A ton of listings on Craigslist are for cleaning, especially if you live in an urban area.

You do not even need to be a professional cleaner to do these jobs. Just a little motivation and a willingness to work.

If a post asks you to bring your own supplies like

  • Vacuum
  • Mop
  • Cleaning supplies
  • Etc

…then you can charge more.

What’s not to love?

  • Pet Sitter

Pet sitting is a really common under the table job. Lots of people get pets and work full-time…and then realize they need help with walking, etc!

If you are a pet person, this job is a no-brainer.

You can easily make up to $50 in just one day. If you do two to three gigs a week, you are looking at a decent side income. The best part is, it’s relatively easy (and fun!) compared to other jobs on this list.

And it’s also super easy to get started. Just sign up with Rover and boom! You’re instantly a pet sitter.

You won’t find this option on every list, but it’s definitely something you need to try out!

Farmer’s markets are in almost every town and city. Some come around once a month but others are a more regular thing.

You can make money two ways with a farmer’s market:

First, you may be hired by a stall owner swamped with work. These gigs usually pay cash for simple work, like ringing people up or loading and unloading a van.

OR

…you can rent out a table to sell something. You do not necessarily have to sell vegetables or fruits, you can sell other homemade stuff like sauces or crafts.

If you have a creative side or are into gardening, this could be a regular way to make cash.

Lots of people think you can’t make money from making music, but that’s not true.

Showcase your skills and pitch your services. Come with a schedule you’re available and an amount you’re looking for…and you may find something in no time.

You should have some samples ready to show to people either on a website or YouTube

You can make as much as $100 in just one gig that would last a couple of hours, plus free drinks.
